Sleep Coaching

Are you considering diving into the world of sleep coaching but feeling a bit uncertain? I understand; I was once in your shoes a few years ago. My main challenge back then was doubting if it would work for me, and my husband was also very hesitant—VERY!

It's completely normal to have questions and hesitations before embarking on this journey. After all, you'll be investing time and money, and it's not a decision to rush into. In this blog post, we'll explore three key questions you should ask yourself before starting sleep coaching, along with insights and tips to help you make an informed decision.

Do I feel like things can get better? 🤔

The first question to ponder is whether you believe there's room for improvement in your current sleep situation. Take a moment to imagine your ideal scenario. Are there aspects of your sleep routine that could be enhanced or adjusted to better suit your family's needs? It's essential to recognize that what works for one family may not necessarily work for another. If safe co-sleeping is working well for you and your little one, that's fantastic! The key is to identify what feels right for your family's unique dynamics.

Am I ready to work on independent sleep? 💪

The next question to consider is your readiness for change. Are you mentally prepared to make adjustments to your child's sleep routine? It's okay if you're not quite there yet; readiness for independent sleep varies from family to family and doesn't necessarily align with a specific age. The important thing is to acknowledge your willingness to explore new approaches when the time feels right for you and your child. Remember, it's a journey, and progress can be made at your own pace.

Is my partner/dad on the same page? 👫

Sleep coaching often involves teamwork, so it's crucial to ensure that both you and your partner are aligned in your approach. Open and honest discussions about your sleep goals and strategies can significantly enhance your success.

When both parents are on board and working together towards a common goal, it reduces confusion and increases consistency for your child.

Remember, collaboration and shared understanding are key components of effective sleep coaching.
